New Persona 4 Revival Trailer Reveals Release Date for the Remake

During Xbox Games Showcase 2026, Atlus unveiled a new trailer for Persona 4 Revival and announced the release date for the highly anticipated remake of the beloved JRPG. The game is set to launch on February 18, 2027, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
Persona 4 Revival is an updated version of the acclaimed RPG set in the small Japanese town of Inaba. Players step into the shoes of a high school student spending a year away from home, making new friends while investigating a string of mysterious murders connected to a strange TV channel that only appears on rainy nights.
The game once again blends everyday school life, social bond-building, and turn-based battles against Shadows in a supernatural world hidden beyond television screens. As in the original, Personas—manifestations of each character’s inner strength—will play a central role in uncovering the truth behind the mystery.
The remake features significantly enhanced graphics, updated visuals, and reimagined versions of Inaba’s iconic locations, while preserving the story, atmosphere, and memorable cast that have made Persona 4 one of the most beloved entries in the series.
Meanwhile, Xbox Games Showcase 2026 also saw the official announcement of Persona 6, following a series of alleged character image leaks that surfaced online in late May.
