Doom: The Dark Ages Story DLC Officially Announced

id Software has officially announced Revelations, a massive story expansion for the shooter Doom: The Dark Ages, alongside a brand-new gameplay reveal trailer.
The upcoming DLC follows a wounded and betrayed Doom Slayer after he is cast into a brutal, frozen purgatory. To escape, the Slayer must tear through terrifying divine monstrosities and uncover dark secrets from the past with the help of a mysterious ally. A major gameplay addition comes in the form of a brand-new spear weapon, giving players access to devastating new attack combos. The developers at id Software promise a massive scale for this expansion, with game director Hugo Martin previously comparing it to a full-blown sequel.
The expansion is scheduled to launch on July 7, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
