Stellar Blade Is Coming to Nintendo Switch 2

Developer Shift Up has officially announced that Stellar Blade is headed to the Nintendo Switch 2. Revealed during the latest Nintendo Direct, the port is scheduled to launch sometime in 2026.

Stellar Blade is a sci-fi action-adventure game crafted by the Korean studio Shift Up. Set in the distant future, the game takes place on a desolate, post-apocalyptic Earth. With humanity nearly wiped out and driven off the planet, the remaining survivors have taken refuge in an orbital space station. Players step into the shoes of Eve, a member of an airborne squad sent back to Earth to wipe out the alien invaders and reclaim the planet for humankind.

As a quick reminder, a sequel titled Stellar Blade: Blood Rain is currently in the works, featuring a brand-new protagonist named Ivy. The upcoming title was recently revealed during the Summer Game Fest 2026 showcase.
