During the June presentation, Nintendo dropped a fresh trailer for the single-player adventure Splatoon Raiders. The video spotlights the Refuge Ship, which serves as the player's home base.

In Splatoon Raiders, you play as the Mechanic. Story-wise, the protagonist teams up with three members of the Deep Cut pirate crew to hunt for treasure on the Spiralite Islands. Players will face various obstacles along the way, including aggressive Salmonids that must be fought off using ink-based weaponry. One of the crew members helps the main character by piloting a mech called the Recon Bot. This robot can attack enemies, launch the Mechanic into the air, and execute special moves. Aside from standard Salmonids, players will also go head-to-head in boss battles.

Splatoon Raiders will feature a progression system where your character earns XP, levels up, and boosts stats. Additionally, players can customize and upgrade gadgets using skill points and crafting materials.

More details on Splatoon Raiders will be revealed during a dedicated Direct presentation completely focused on the game, scheduled for June 30.

Splatoon Raiders launches on July 23, 2026, for Nintendo Switch 2.

As a reminder, Nintendo previously revealed the release date for Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave and announced a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
