Sony Reveals June PS Plus Premium Lineup, Including Final Fantasy XVI and Kingdom Come: Deliverance
Sony has unveiled the June lineup of games coming to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers. Over the coming weeks, the service's catalog will be expanded with several major titles, including Final Fantasy XVI, Sonic X Shadow Generations, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and Life is Strange: Double Exposure.
The biggest addition is Final Fantasy XVI, which joins the service on June 16. The latest mainline entry in Square Enix's iconic RPG series takes players to the dark fantasy world of Valisthea, a land plagued by the mysterious Blight. The story follows Clive Rosfield as he becomes entangled in a large-scale conflict between rival nations and the powerful Dominants who wield the Eikons. Featuring fast-paced real-time combat and a cinematic narrative, the game is widely regarded as one of Square Enix's most ambitious RPGs in recent years.
Subscribers will also get access to Sonic X Shadow Generations on June 10. This enhanced version of Sonic Generations includes a brand-new campaign focused on Shadow, allowing players to experience a remastered classic while learning more about one of the franchise's most beloved characters.
Another notable addition is Kingdom Come: Deliverance, arriving on June 23. This realistic RPG, set in medieval Bohemia, forgoes magic and fantasy creatures in favor of a grounded historical setting. Players step into the shoes of Henry, the son of a blacksmith, and find themselves caught in the middle of a civil war. The PlayStation 5 version features enhanced visuals, 4K support, and improved performance.
Fans of narrative-driven adventures can look forward to Life is Strange: Double Exposure, which launches on the service on June 23. The new story brings back Max Caulfield, the protagonist of the original game. After the mysterious murder of a close friend, Max discovers a way to travel between two parallel realities and sets out to change the course of events.
Other June additions include Farming Simulator 25, which lets players build and manage their own farming business across multiple regions, the fantasy action game Blades of Fire with its weapon-forging system, and the MMORPG Black Desert. All three titles will be added on June 30.
PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will also receive the cult classic rhythm game Gitaroo Man, making its PS4 and PS5 debut on June 16. Originally released for the PlayStation 2, the game is still remembered as one of the most unique music titles of its era.
In May, Sony also announced a price increase for PS Plus. Earlier this year, subscribers gained access to titles such as Grounded Fully Yoked Edition, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide.
