Cyberpunk Life Sim Nivalis Nights Gets an Official Release Date

ION LANDS and 505 Games have announced that Nivalis Nights, the highly anticipated cyberpunk life sim spin-off to Cloudpunk, will launch on Steam on September 29, 2026. An Epic Games Store release is scheduled to follow later.

Originally titled simply Nivalis, the project has faced multiple delays, partly due to the extensive time needed to finalize voice acting. As of right now, there is no word on console versions. Set in the sprawling futuristic metropolis of Nivalis from Cloudpunk, the game allows players to build a life, explore the neon-soaked streets, and bond with local residents. The developers promise over a hundred unique NPCs, diverse questlines, and a massive variety of activities ranging from home decoration to fishing and farming. In Nivalis Nights, you can run your own business, grow crops, catch fish, play chess, and navigate the city on foot or by boat. This rich feature set transforms the game into a true cyberpunk sandbox, offering something for every type of player.

The development team admitted that bringing Nivalis Nights to life proved more challenging than expected, and they extended their gratitude to fans for their ongoing patience. The creative director at ION LANDS noted that, as an indie studio, the team faced unprecedented hurdles, making them deeply thankful for the community's support over the last five years. He added that the team is thrilled to finally lock in an official release date and cannot wait for players to meet Ava and experience the city's unique charm firsthand.
