Palworld Tops 40 Million Players Ahead of Version 1.0 Launch

With Palworld's version 1.0 set for July 10, 2026, Pocketpair is celebrating the game's growing audience with a Steam discount and two platform links for players who want to jump in now: version 1.0 and Steam. The studio also said the full release is planned for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store.

Pocketpair said Palworld first launched in Early Access on January 19, 2024, on PC, Xbox Series, and Xbox One. The game later arrived on PlayStation 5 on September 24, 2024, and the studio says it has been in Early Access for 2.5 years.

To mark the occasion, Pocketpair also released a commemorative video retracing the game's major updates so far.

Pocketpair's message alongside the video kept the focus on the player count itself:

With the final release now close and a discounted Steam price already in place, Palworld enters its next stage with a very large audience already behind it.
