Zenless Zone Zero and Honkai: Star Rail tease crossover with Pom-Pom appearing in ZZZ

A Pom-Pom cameo in Zenless Zone Zero has pushed a miHoYo crossover tease with Honkai: Star Rail into view, and the first clear sign came on July 17, 2026. The Star Rail conductor has already appeared inside Zenless Zone Zero, making the collaboration look more like a deliberate setup than a random cameo.

Pom-Pom was spotted in several places across Zenless Zone Zero: the video rental shop, Club 404, and the toy store. That is enough to get players talking about which characters could show up next, especially since the appearance seems intentionally placed rather than hidden away in a single scene.

The early speculation now centers on several names. Leaks claim Robin may be added to Zenless Zone Zero, while Ellen and Astra Yao are said to appear in Honkai: Star Rail. There is also talk that new content for Honkai: Star Rail could arrive after patch 4.7.

Another leaked detail suggests that Honkai: Star Rail is preparing a full patch dedicated to the collaboration. For now, though, everything still looks like a set of early hints rather than a formal announcement, so the crossover remains in the teasing stage.

The key question is how far miHoYo plans to take this crossover once it is made official. If the leaks are accurate, it could involve more than a small event and instead become a larger content block across both games.

Will miHoYo turn this in-game tease into a full crossover for both games?
