Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Surpasses 3 Million Copies Sold
Ubisoft has announced that Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced has already topped 3 million copies sold. The highly anticipated remake of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag originally launched on July 9 across PC and consoles.
The milestone solidifies Resynced as one of the franchise's most successful releases in recent years. According to SteamDB, the title also managed to draw a massive crowd on PC, hitting a peak concurrent player count of over 104,000 on Steam alone.
Built from the ground up on the latest version of the Anvil engine, Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is a full-scale reimagining of the classic 2013 pirate adventure. Set during the Golden Age of Piracy in the early 18th century, the game follows Edward Kenway—a charismatic yet fiercely greedy British pirate. After a twist of fate, Kenway finds himself caught in the middle of the ancient, high-stakes war between the Assassins and the Templars across the Caribbean.
Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Ubisoft Store.
