Freebie: Top-Down Shooter Yet Another Zombie Defense HD Is Currently Free to Claim on Steam

Steam has kicked off a 100% off giveaway for Yet Another Zombie Defense HD, a hit arcade shooter boasting an 83% positive user rating. Gamers can grab the title for free until July 30.

Yet Another Zombie Defense HD is a top-down arcade zombie shooter wrapped in light tower defense mechanics. The core loop centers entirely on surviving night after night against relentless undead hordes, with the difficulty scaling up significantly with each passing wave. Gameplay is split into two distinct phases: during the day, players safely purchase firearms, restock ammo, and build defensive barricades. Once darkness falls, the combat phase begins, forcing players to hold their ground and repel incoming waves of mutated monsters.
