6 Games Are Free to Play on Steam Right Now, Including a Zombie Shooter and an Open-World Survival Game

Steam has kicked off its latest Free Weekend event, and this time around, the lineup includes Wild Assault, Unrailed 2: Back on Track, METAL GEAR SOLID — Master Collection Version, Firefighting Simulator: Ignite, Killing Floor 3, and Icarus.

Wild Assault is a massive multiplayer third-person hero shooter built on Unreal Engine 5. It features intense 20v20 battlefield-scale combat across sprawling maps, where your main goals are capturing strongholds, holding territory, and outmaneuvering the enemy team with tactical squad builds. Unrailed 2: Back on Track is a chaotic co-op railroad construction simulator. Players must work together to gather resources, craft tracks, and pave the way for a constantly moving train to keep it from derailing. The game currently boasts an impressive 88% user rating. Check out the Steam Page.

METAL GEAR SOLID — Master Collection Version brings back the legendary 1998 stealth-action masterpiece.
