Warhorse Studios' new Kingdom Come Salvation trademark is already under EUIPO examination. Filed on July 23, 2026, the mark has sparked speculation that it could be a subtitle for the next Kingdom Come game.

The filing is listed under Warhorse Studios s.r.o. in the EUIPO database. It also names Czech as the filing language and the Czech Republic as the country of origin.

The trademark covers computer gaming software and other game software in Nice class 9. That includes computer game programs, downloadable computer game programs, and recorded computer game programs.

It also covers entertainment services in Nice class 41, including services for matching users with computer games, online interactive entertainment, and providing on-line interactive computer games. In addition, the filing includes terms such as provision of on-line computer games, game services provided online from a computer network, and electronic games services provided by means of a global communication network.

Those online-service terms have fueled talk about multiplayer, co-op, or another online component. That lines up with comments from communications director Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, who said the next game could arrive next fiscal year.

If everything goes right, [the next Kingdom Come game] comes next fiscal year, which means you don't have to wait seven years for another Kingdom Come. That is good!
— Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, communications director

Warhorse's next financial year runs from April 1, 2027 to March 31, 2028. That gives the studio a fairly wide window for the next Kingdom Come release, even as the trademark leaves room for questions about what form the series will take next.

Will Kingdom Come Salvation turn out to be a subtitle for the next game, or a sign that the series is moving toward multiplayer?
