Hell Let Loose: Vietnam Opens Free Playtest Across PC and Consoles

Players who want to try Hell Let Loose: Vietnam early can do so this weekend on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The test runs until July 27, and the game already has a Steam page, while the developers are also directing players to an official survey.
The playtest supports cross-platform play, so PC and console players can jump in together. Console-only servers are also available for players who do not want to face mouse-and-keyboard opponents.
This test build adds the new Đắk Tô Airfield map and includes updates to helicopters, tunnels, and long-range movement.
There are still some known issues in the build, including voice chat problems, occasional performance drops, and infrequent crashes or stability issues on some AMD GPUs. Team17 and Expression Games also note that progress, XP, and unlocks earned during the test will not carry over to the full release.
The full release of Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is scheduled for August 13, 2026. For now, the free test gives players an early look at the game's cross-platform setup and its latest changes before launch.
