Several new free-to-play games hit Steam in late July. The latest batch of freebies includes Kujira no Hara, Floor404, A Game About Penguins: First Catch, and Level Down.

Level Down is a pixel-art platformer where players must ascend through 100 procedurally generated floors while avoiding collapsing platforms. The core gameplay hook is that a single misstep can send you plummeting multiple floors down or reset your progress entirely. Check it out on the Steam Store Page.

Kujira no Hara is a top-down 2D adventure heavily inspired by classic The Legend of Zelda titles. The story follows a child who gets swallowed by a giant whale, only to discover an entire isolated world thriving inside its belly. The game features 7 dungeons and over 60 colorful characters. Check it out on the Steam Store Page.

Floor404 is a first-person indie horror game. Players wake up in a creepy, mysterious hospital with no one else around and the laws of reality completely shattered. To escape this eerie place alive, you’ll need to make your way up to the eighth floor. Check it out on the Steam Store Page.

A Game About Penguins: First Catch is a co-op prologue to a cozy sandbox game. Here, you can explore a snowy island with friends, go fishing, slide down hills, and much more. Check it out on the Steam Store Page.
