Halo: Campaign Evolved Is Out Now — First Steam Reviews Are Already In

Halo: Campaign Evolved officially launched today (July 28). The game is a full remake of the Halo: Combat Evolved (2001) campaign, and it has already started receiving its first user reviews on Steam. At the time of writing, the game holds a Mostly Positive rating.

Halo: Campaign Evolved is a complete remake of the Halo: Combat Evolved campaign, featuring modernized visuals, reworked cutscenes, enhanced audio, and improved controls. In addition to the original campaign, the game introduces three brand-new missions starring Master Chief and Sergeant Johnson, an expanded arsenal of weapons, new vehicles and enemy types, as well as Skull modifiers that add more variety and replayability.

The game supports both solo play and four-player co-op, with full cross-play and cross-progression between PC and consoles.

Earlier, Halo: Campaign Evolved also received its first reviews from critics, with the majority praising the remake.
