Baldur's Gate 3 Gets A Dream of Silence, a Three-Act Story Mod With Multiple Endings
Astarion takes center stage in Baldur's Gate 3's new fan-made mod A Dream of Silence, which sends the player on a mission to save him from a nightmare. The project spans three acts, and lizardphunk says a playthrough should take about 10-20 hours.
It also includes several possible endings, so the mod is not limited to a single route through the plot.
On top of that, A Dream of Silence adds new companions with dialogue and rewards, new weapons, dynamic combat, and boss fights.
The author also says Script Extender is not required, which should make the mod easier to install for players who do not want to deal with extra tools. The project is not finished yet, and lizardphunk says work is ongoing and that player feedback may lead to future patches.
The mod is based on A Dream Of Silence, a text-based game by Abigail Corfman, and lizardphunk frames it as a reimagining of that idea in the Baldur's Gate 3 engine.
Will you save Astarion — or will you betray him? Is the Bastellus your downfall or a friend? Are you alone in this Dream — or is someone else listening?
Does a fan-made Baldur's Gate 3 campaign with three acts and multiple endings sound like a full expansion to you?
