KAYAC announced that Ketsu Battler's absurd pant-based controls are getting a major boost on July 30, and the game already has a Nintendo Store page. The Japanese fighting game is built around an absurd premise: players place a Joy-Con in their pants and control matches through hip motion.
Ketsu Battler is available on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, and KAYAC says the update adds a mechanic called the Serious Zone, also described as the Butt Ass Zone. When the player shakes more aggressively, the character is surrounded by a special aura that boosts base stats and special techniques.
The update will also add new stages, including a zero-gravity stage and another stage where the Serious Zone is always active. New characters are part of the update as well.

KAYAC also addressed how the game behaves on Switch 2.
It's been confirmed that if you play Ketsu Battler on the Switch 2, your butt will become unexpectedly overpowered.
In other words, the console's increased processing power makes the game run faster, which throws off the balance in a very literal way.
The game was made by KAYAC together with CoroCoro Comics, which helps explain the tone here. It is already out, and the July 30 update looks set to lean even harder into the joke.
Will the Butt Ass Zone make Ketsu Battler even more chaotic on Switch 2, or just completely break its balance?
