New Leak Points to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake Release Date

Nintendo has updated the official store page for the The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake on the Nintendo Switch 2, sparking intense online speculation about an incoming release date announcement.

Rumors point toward a potential November 11, 2026 launch window. This date stems from a scheduling leak by Nintendo UK for upcoming amiibo figures — specifically Sword Kirby and Dragoon along with Noir Dedede and Hydra — which are set to drop on that exact day. Because Nintendo traditionally coordinates major amiibo waves alongside headline first-party software releases, fans were quick to link the dates together.

The remake was officially announced at the June 2026 Nintendo Direct with a vague "2026" release window. With Nintendo's November lineup currently wide open, the recent page update and fresh retail listings suggest an official date announcement is imminent.

In related news, Hasbro recently unveiled its first line of action figures based on The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
