The Division Resurgence PC Launch Set for August 5
Ubisoft has listed The Division Resurgence on Steam ahead of its August 5, 2026 PC release. The game will be free-to-play and available through both Ubisoft Connect and Steam.
The full release also ends early access for the Ubisoft Connect PC version. Set in New York City, the game offers a standalone story that can be played solo or in teams of up to 4 players, with full cross-play and cross-progression between PC, iOS, and Android.
Ubisoft says The Division Resurgence includes PvPvE modes such as Dark Zone and Conflict, along with RPG progression, gear customization, and multiple specializations, giving players more systems to build around after launch.
The publisher also says Year 1 content updates will arrive every 6 weeks, so the game will continue to receive regular additions after August 5.
The game is already listed on Steam. With a free-to-play PC release, cross-progression, and shared play across platforms, The Division Resurgence is set to keep its mobile and PC audiences connected from day one.
Will The Division Resurgence's free-to-play PC launch with cross-play be enough to draw in more players?
