Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls Gets Launch Trailer Ahead of August 6 Release

PlayStation Studios, Arc System Works, and Marvel Games have set Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls' release date, and the latest trailer puts its flashy tag-team combat front and center. The game launches on August 6, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and PC.

The trailer highlights Arc System Works' signature animation, along with flashy special moves and team combinations. It also underscores the game's core hook: Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls is an Ultimate 4v4 Tag-Team Fighter, meaning each match centers on one main character backed by three teammates.

At launch, players will be able to choose from 20 iconic Marvel characters. The trailer also shows a single-player campaign built around five story arcs, with the Champion of the Universe threatening Earth and forcing Marvel heroes and villains to unite.

The developers say the game is designed to be friendly to newcomers while still leaving room for a high skill ceiling in competitive play.
