DragonSword: Awakening tops 200,000 sales and adds Summer Sea skins

HOUND13 is already adding Summer Sea cosmetic DLC to DragonSword: Awakening after the RPG cleared 200,000 sales in its first week on Steam, where it launched on July 23, 2026.

The studio has also confirmed that it is working on versions for PlayStation and Nintendo. No release window has been given yet, and HOUND13 has not said which console generation those editions will target.

The game's early numbers were strong even before launch, with more than 450,000 wishlists and a peak of around 23,000 concurrent players. On Steam, user reviews remain 90% positive, giving the game a "Very Positive" rating, and many players have praised the absence of loot boxes and similar monetization.

That reception did not stop HOUND13 from moving into cosmetics. One week after release, the studio put the Summer Sea Set on sale as three cosmetic DLC packs with beach outfits and matching weapon skins. Astria, Reina, and Seresa each got a summer look, while the full bundle comes with a 30% discount.

Individual pieces in the set also received a 10% launch discount for two weeks. Steam lets players buy only the missing items if they already own part of the set, but the Seresa costume DLC, Moonlight on the Night Sea, is still unavailable because its store page was not ready yet.

Does paid cosmetic DLC so soon after a no-gacha launch undercut DragonSword: Awakening's pitch?
