Mistfall Hunter draws over 500,000 players days after launch

Mistfall Hunter is off to a strong start on both streams and storefronts, with Bellring Games and Skystone Games saying the action game has already drawn more than 500,000 players. The game launched on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, while its Steam page is already live.
The developers also said the launch did not go perfectly: early server access problems accompanied the game's rapid growth. Even so, the audience kept expanding quickly, and part of it may have come through Xbox Game Pass, where Mistfall Hunter was available from day one.
Bellring Games separately noted that Mistfall Hunter climbed to first place in Twitch views, suggesting a strong wave of streams and discussion around the release. In response to the milestone, the team sent players in-game rewards that include a rare Pipp's bag voucher for three days, 500 Soul Coins, one Ash Cipher, and one Bottomless Cipher.
The studio is also preparing an update to address issues reported by players. That patch will not only fix problems, but also increase rare-item drop rates from some bosses, giving the game a concrete post-launch tune-up after its busy first days.
For now, Mistfall Hunter has turned a rough server start into a fast commercial and streaming success, and the next update will be the real test of whether Bellring Games can keep that momentum going.
