Five Nights at Freddy's fans will get to walk into a real Freddy Fazbear's Pizza — complete with animatronics and survival horror
Freddy Fazbear's Pizza from Five Nights at Freddy's is getting built for real. The American Dream entertainment complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey, announced the venue will open in 2027, in partnership with ScottGames, the franchise's owner. This marks the first time the series' central location has moved into the real world permanently, rather than for a single season.

Inside, they're promising more than just a set for photos — a fully functioning attraction. Guests can expect animatronic shows featuring Freddy and his Fazbear Band, Foxy's Pirate Cove, an arcade room, and a full menu. Separately billed are immersive multiplayer survival horror attractions — those are exactly what turn this from a themed restaurant into something bigger.
We're not building a set that looks like Freddy Fazbear's Pizza — we're building Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.
The franchise has made it into the physical world before, but always temporarily. The first walk-through attraction launched at Fright Dome inside Las Vegas's Circus Circus back in 2016, a maze based on the series ran at Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando in 2024, and a standalone Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place popped up at Universal Studios Hollywood in 2025. All of them closed down at the end of their season. The location chosen for the permanent version fits right in: American Dream already houses the Nickelodeon Universe theme park, DreamWorks Water Park, an indoor ski slope, and a LEGOLAND Discovery Center.
Details remain scarce for now. No exact opening date, prices, menu, venue size, or ticketing rules have been announced — nor whether the horror attractions will be included in the price of dinner or cost extra. All that's known is that the complex is calling the project the world's first permanent immersive restaurant.
The pizzeria wasn't the only thing announced that day: August 8 marked the franchise's twelfth anniversary, and teasers for two new games showed up to mark the occasion. The first points to FNAF World 2 — the return of the 2016 RPG spin-off that Scott Cawthon pulled from sale just days after release, later putting it up for free. The second came from Steel Wool Studios, the developers behind Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach: hidden in the clip is a shot of Vanny with a "2" rendered in the game's signature font in her eye. The studio never actually said the sequel's name, so "Security Breach 2" remains a fan interpretation for now, not an official announcement. No dates or details have been shared for either game.
Would you go grab dinner at a place like this — or does the idea of eating pizza under the watch of animatronics sound a bit too sketchy?
