Sony has revealed the August lineup for the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium Game Catalog. The biggest addition is Helldivers 2, which becomes available to subscribers today, August 12. The rest of the announced titles will begin arriving on August 18, while several games will launch in select regions on August 25.

The main PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium lineup also includes Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Warhorse Studios' sprawling RPG set in 15th-century Bohemia. Players once again step into the shoes of Henry and continue his story against the backdrop of civil war, court intrigue, and a struggle for power.

Subscribers will also get Vampire Survivors, Soulslike action game Hell is Us, pixel-art competitive game Umamusume Pretty Derby — Party Dash, and management sim Two Point Museum.

In addition, Metro Exodus and Dying Light 2 are returning to the catalog. The former takes players on a journey across post-apocalyptic Russia, blending first-person shooting, stealth, and survival horror elements, while the latter focuses on surviving in a city ravaged by a zombie outbreak and torn apart by rival factions.

The full August PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium lineup is as follows:

  • Helldivers 2 — PS5;
  • Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 — PS5;
  • Vampire Survivors — PS5 and PS4;
  • Hell is Us — PS5;
  • Umamusume Pretty Derby — Party Dash — PS4;
  • Two Point Museum — PS5;
  • Metro Exodus — PS5 and PS4;
  • Dying Light 2 — PS5 and PS4.

Sony also clarified that Hell is Us, Umamusume Pretty Derby — Party Dash, Two Point Museum, Metro Exodus, and Dying Light 2 will become available on August 25 in the US, UK, and Japan.

PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will also receive two classic games. The catalog is adding Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams, originally released for PlayStation 2, and Disney's Atlantis: The Lost Empire from the original PlayStation. The latter comes with up-rendering, rewind, quick save, and custom video filters.

Incidentally, the arrival of Helldivers 2 on PlayStation Plus coincided with the release of the major Devoid of Liberty update. It continues the storyline surrounding the war against the Illuminate and adds new content.
