ARC Raiders' Frozen Trail update arrives on October 8, 2026, and Embark Studios is billing it as the game's biggest update since launch. Set at the edge of the Rust Belt, the patch adds a new frozen settlement map, a major ARC Operation, and broader progression changes.
The update adds a new map set in a frozen settlement at the edge of the Rust Belt. Embark Studios says the area will emphasize verticality, exploration, and discovery, with the action shifting to a harsh location beneath towering mountains.
Embark Studios also says the update will add new ARC enemies, ranging from a small troublemaker to an enormous machine. Progression will expand too, with a new Outpost space, changes to the Skill Tree, and updates to Raider Decks.
The studio says more details about Frozen Trail will be shared in September. The update comes as ARC Raiders' recent Steam reviews have fallen to 50% positive, which makes the reaction to this major patch especially important.
