Steam's Steamy NSFW Event runs through August 25 with adult-game discounts

Steam started the Steamy NSFW Event on August 11, and the page groups adult games into discounted, free, and upcoming sections through August 25.

The discounted section includes titles such as Darker: Chapter 1, Dreams of Amelia, Parasite Black, and My Bimbo Dream. The event also has a separate block for free games, including Passion Rift, Kinky Cats, Lust Solitaire, Wet Wealth, and Forbidden Fruit, with some of them available on macOS.

Another section is reserved for games scheduled to arrive in the near future. One example listed there is Risky Business, which is set for August 20, 2026. Other upcoming entries named in the festival include Futa Succubus Slay!, Pussyhugger Penetration, Monster Girl Clinic, and The Spellbook.

The festival is organized by IndieNSFW and Jonny Obviously. In practice, NSFW usually stands for not safe for work, a label for adult-only content that many users may want to keep hidden from view.

That visibility matters on Steam, too: if a profile has no age listed or adult content is disabled in the settings, much of the catalog will not appear. In that case, game pages are hidden and the festival can look much emptier than it really is.

The question is simple: should Steam make adult-only festivals easier to find, or is the current filtering enough?
