King's Bounty: Armored Princess Gets Major Update With Achievements and Steam Deck Support

Fulqrum Publishing and Katauri Interactive updated King's Bounty: Armored Princess on August 13, and the patch can even auto-unlock some achievements from older save files. It also adds 74 Steam achievements, quality-of-life improvements, fixes, Steam Workshop support, and compatibility with modern devices and systems, including Steam Deck.
The developers also noted that the update checks old save files to see whether achievement conditions were already met. That means some achievements may unlock as soon as an older save is loaded, so players who want to earn them one by one may prefer to start a new campaign from the beginning.
Fulqrum Publishing also confirmed that the game still has a Legacy branch on Steam for those who want the old version. The trade-off is simple: achievements cannot be earned there.
Steam Workshop support is now part of the update as well, with the developers setting a clear boundary for user-made content. Mods containing 18+ material or anything that violates the law will be removed.
King's Bounty: Armored Princess now looks like much more than a routine maintenance patch, with support for modern hardware, mod tools, and a fresh achievement list all arriving at once.
