Hayfever, a game about a postman with a terrible allergy, is now completely free on Steam

The 2D platformer Hayfever, in which players help a postman named Thomas collect lost letters, has gone free-to-play on Steam.

Hayfever features a rather unusual gameplay mechanic: Thomas suffers from severe allergies, and different allergens can actually help him overcome obstacles. For example, pollen makes Thomas sneeze and sends him flying into the air, while smog inflates him like a balloon. Peanuts, meanwhile, have an even stranger effect.

The game features four worlds based on the four seasons, 140 levels, and 240 letters to collect. Players who manage to collect enough letters can also unlock additional, more challenging levels.

At the time of its transition to a free-to-play model, Hayfever had 91% positive reviews on Steam. Now, anyone can join Thomas on his quest to find all the lost letters completely free of charge.

Meanwhile, Cardpocalypse Standard Edition is currently available for free on the Epic Games Store.
