Razer Prio is a foldable smartphone controller that shrinks to credit-card size

Razer announced the Prio on September 2, 2026, pitching the foldable iPhone-and-Android controller's USB-C connection as a plug-and-play alternative to Bluetooth pads. When folded, the Razer Prio measures 107 x 67 x 23 mm and weighs 101 grams, putting it close to credit-card size.
Unfolded, the controller is designed for phones up to 7 inches, including the iPhone 17 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. Razer says it connects directly over USB-C, so there is no pairing step and no separate battery to charge.
The Prio's controls include a tactile 4-way D-pad, face buttons, bumpers, triggers and two analog thumbsticks. Razer says the thumbsticks use capacitive analog sensing engineered to reduce drift.
The controller also supports local mobile play and streaming through Xbox Cloud Gaming, Steam Link, PS Remote Play and Razer PC Remote Play. Razer says the Prio is the first product in a new line of ultra-portable mobile gaming controllers.
Price is where the new controller may draw the most attention: the Prio costs $99.99 in the US and £99.99 in the UK. Travis Furst, head of AI Hardware and Console Division at Razer, said:
With the Razer Prio, we set out to erase the tradeoffs between portability and precision. It folds down to the size of a credit card, but the moment it opens, it plays like a full controller. That's the whole game, wherever you happen to be sitting.
