Sex in GTA 6 Is Officially Confirmed, and There's New Art of Jason and Lucia (Updated)

Rockstar Games hasn't said a word about sex scenes yet, but confirmation has turned up in the store. The New Zealand PlayStation Store listing for Grand Theft Auto 6: Ultimate Edition carries a Restricted 18 rating with the descriptors "Drug Use, Graphic Violence, Offensive Language, Sex Scenes."
For comparison, the rating description for GTA 5 on the same storefront lists "Drug Use, Offensive Language, Sexual Material, Violence." So instead of the vague "sexual content," the sixth entry now explicitly mentions sex scenes. The new game also gets a separate nudity descriptor, and its violence is labeled as graphic.
The listing also reveals details about the edition: the Ultimate Edition is a PS5 release with PS5 Pro enhancements, single-player, offline play, Remote Play support, and DualSense vibration. The game launches on November 19, 2026.
Of course, a store listing is no substitute for an official announcement from Rockstar, and the studio hasn't said how these scenes will actually be presented in the game. Still, the fact that the rating now has its own descriptor suggests the series is moving toward more mature, explicit storytelling.
Meanwhile, Rockstar recently unveiled new GTA 6 art created specially for the cover of LOVE magazine's Issue 27. It shows Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval in a glossy, fashion-magazine style, with a large pink LOVE masthead, the tagline "America's Most Wanted," and the game's title. In the accompanying feature, the developers talk about a decade of world-building and what the American Dream looks like today. They also promise that in a world this dense, there are no extras: every character you meet matters. Rob Nelson, Co-Studio Head and Head of Development at Rockstar North, said the team hopes players will get lost in these worlds and characters. The issue hits newsstands on October 5.
Updated: fresh screenshots have also been released.

How explicit do you think Rockstar will go with this side of the game? Will it fade to black, or show more than GTA 5 did?
