Dead by Daylight posted a short teaser on X on October 2, 2026, hinting at a possible collaboration with NieR: Automata. Fans decoded its angelic-language symbols as "Interception," while the game is also available on Steam.

The account later shared another image featuring the same font and background as the interface used by NieR: Automata's YoRHa androids. The first teaser mentioned four Survivors, leading fans to speculate that the crossover could bring costumes for existing characters rather than introduce new heroes. Behaviour Interactive has not officially confirmed the collaboration, and its contents remain unknown.

Separately, a collectible replica of NieR: Automata's White Contract sword was made at 1:1 scale and measures 139 centimeters. It has metal components, weighs about 1.8 kilograms, and includes lights, impact sounds, and 2B's voice. Images were shared online.

The teaser has prompted speculation, but there is still no official confirmation of a Dead by Daylight and NieR: Automata collaboration. What would you want the crossover to include, and would the White Contract replica's features make it worth collecting?
