Nacon Unveils PS5 Controller With Built-In Screen and Audio Mixing
Nacon's new Revolution 5 Unlimited focuses on customization: the officially licensed PS5 and PC controller includes a built-in screen for audio mixing and quick settings changes. The company says it is the first licensed PS5 controller with a screen, and that it can mix audio from two sources while adjusting each source's volume in connected headphones.
The screen also lets players adjust stick sensitivity and dead zones, assign buttons, switch profiles, and manage connections, lighting, and brightness without leaving a game.
The controller uses tunnel magnetoresistance (TMR) sticks, which are less prone to drift, and has four rear buttons, two extra upper bumpers, and microswitch buttons. Trigger stops change the triggers from analog travel to a shorter click, while a dedicated setting offers increased responsiveness in shooters.
The package includes a charging dock, carrying case, grip weights, interchangeable stick caps, a wireless adapter, cable, and cleaning cloth. The dock is a new addition among licensed PS5 controllers.
Preorders are open on Nacon's official website. The Revolution 5 Unlimited costs $229.99 in the US, €199.99 in Europe, and £179.99 in the UK, with launch planned for the fourth quarter of 2026. It does not support the DualSense's vibration, haptic feedback, or adaptive triggers.
At $229.99 in the US and £179.99 in the UK, the controller's price varies notably by region. Does its built-in screen and bundled dock make the Revolution 5 Unlimited worth the price?
