How and Where to Farm Legendary Gear and Items in Diablo 4

To complete Diablo 4, a well-thought-out character build might not be enough. You will need legendary weapons and armor, which significantly increase your character's strength and defense. In this guide, we will tell you how to obtain them.

First, note that in Diablo 4, as in previous games in the series, there is no guaranteed way to acquire legendary items. We have only gathered places, events, and items that have a relatively high chance of yielding such gear.

A special resource that you will receive during quests and boss fights. With obols, you can participate in a kind of lottery with curiosity vendors. The reward includes various items, among which legendary gear can be found.

Essentially, these are single-level dungeons. They contain chests and simple quests. The chance of getting a legendary item in cellars is small, but it exists. Moreover, each of them can be cleared quickly. We recommend taking advantage of this opportunity. On the map, cellars are marked as open hatches.

If desired, quests can be completed multiple times.

Clearing dungeons is a more effective way to farm legendary items. However, you will need to spend more time clearing dungeons than exploring cellars.

These locations are intended for battles with other players. However, if you disable PvP mode and enter the Fields of Hatred, you will find yourself in a location with many elite enemies. Among them is a treasure goblin. These mobs have a high chance of dropping legendary gear.

You should only venture into the Fields of Hatred with a well-leveled character.

After completing the main storyline, you will have the opportunity to increase the world level and access new events. At World Tier 3, a special mode called HellTide becomes available. In it, you must withstand the attacks of especially powerful demons for an entire hour.

Defeated enemies will drop Aberrant Cinders, which can be used to open special chests called Tortured Gifts. These chests only appear in locations affected by HellTide. They have a high chance of containing legendary items.
