Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Festive Tokens — All Locations and How to Collect
At the beginning of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, players can obtain valuable items in exchange for festive tokens. Don’t miss this opportunity, because the items you get will be needed during the process of exploring the world. First Token
You will receive one token after completing the first part of the prologue, after the cutscene in which the artist erases that part of the population of Lumiere. This annual event in the game is called the Gommage.
Second Token
The next token can be obtained for defeating Mael. You can find her at the end of the pier on the right. Talk to the girl and agree to a rematch. The battle is one-on-one. It’s pretty easy to win — just land a few hits and dodge the opponent’s attacks. As a result, you’ll get another token.
Third Token
Near the blue tent, find a man in a white jacket named Antoine. Talk to him and agree to take part in his quiz. He’ll ask three questions, and if you answer them correctly, you’ll get the last token.
First question:
- When did our world shatter into pieces and our shining city get tossed into the ocean? When did the Rift happen?
- Answer: 67 years ago. (Second option)
Second question:
- Which was the first Expedition to set out for the continent?
- Answer: Expedition Zero. (Third option)
Third question:
- What is lumina?
- Answer: Abilities you gain by using pictos in battle enough times. (First option)
Why You Need Tokens
On the left side of the pier, along the wall decorated with expedition flags, there are four colorful tents. Inside, you’ll find merchants who will exchange valuable items for festive tokens.
- Green tent: Strange Pictos. In Act 1, when you reach the Jestral Settlement location, talk to the yellow Jestral merchant to the left of Golgra’s hut. As a result, you’ll receive the pictos Enhanced Scope: aimed shot deals +50% damage.
- Red tent: Outfit. From Amandine, you’ll get a stylish hairstyle Bun for Gustav. The hair is slicked back into a bun with a radial parting on the right.
- Blue tent: Old Key. Collette will give you a key, which can be used to open an iron gate in the drainage tunnel, in Act 2 at the Old Lumiere location. As a result, you’ll get the Post-Rift Survivor’s Journal. The tunnel can be found to the left of the Right Street flag.
