How to Find All Three Berries and Complete the Druid’s Wish in Hollow Knight: Silksong

While playing through Hollow Knight: Silksong, you will complete side quests known as "Wishes." One of the first quests is the Druid's wish to get three swamp or mossy berries. In this guide, we'll tell you where to find the required NPC, how to locate the fruits, and what reward you'll receive.

Although this is one of the first characters you'll meet at the start of the game, you'll need to unlock an important ability to reach the Druid. The so-called "Silk Spear" will allow you to cut through silk barriers and reach places you couldn't access before.

In the Bone Lowlands location, find the uppermost room in the right corner. That's where the skill is. After acquiring the Silk Spear, drop down to the floor of the room and head right until you hit a barrier. Cut through it, and the heroine will enter a small cave with the Druid. There will be a save point nearby.

The Druid wants three green swamp berries, which are scattered in different parts of the location. While they aren't too well hidden, you'll have to work to find—and most importantly—collect them. As a reward, you’ll get a tool that's especially useful in the early stages of the game, so we recommend dealing with the berries right away.

As mentioned earlier, you need to find three berries. One is right next to the Druid's cave, and the other two are in the first location—the Mossy Grotto. However, there are three alternative options as well. On our screenshot from the interactive map, you can see all their locations. They are marked with green dots.

The very first berry is easy to find right next to the Druid. Exit his cave and look for a downward path. There will be a passage on the right. Go through it and you'll find a bug hovering with the fruit. You need to hit it several times to get the reward.

Return to the Mossy Grotto. In the upper right part, there is the largest room in the area. The berry is hanging from the ceiling. To get it, you need to strike downward at a nearby flying beetle, then bounce toward the fruit and cut it down with a few hits.

At the very beginning of the game, move a bit to the right. Climb onto the platform in the center of the room and you'll see the fruit nearby.

You can find the fourth optional berry by taking the elevator above the village in the Bone Pile. It is located just to the left of the shop. Once at the top, go to the right. From there, you need to jump across the platform and turn around, then strike correctly while falling at the circling beetle holding the fruit. It will be flying a bit below your position. You'll need to do this three times before the insect releases the prize.

To reach the fifth berry, you will need to buy a key for 500 bus and open the passage to the "Wormhole" location. After that, go down until you reach a bright area. Near the ceiling, you'll see a fly carrying a berry in its jaws.

The sixth berry is at the very bottom. To get it, you need to unlock the "Needle Cello" talent (free the city of Bellville). After that, return to the starting location and find the closed door. By playing at such a door, you will activate a mechanism that opens the passage. Start the generator, go down, and move left until you see the berry in the ceiling. Be careful—there are spikes under the platform, and the berry can roll away. If this happens, return to the bench, rest, and try again. Note that the interactive map is a bit inaccurate in this particular case. You need to be not in the green Mossy Grotto location, but below it, so you won't be able to collect the berry in the early stages.

When you bring all three berries to the Druid, he will give you a new tool—the "Druid's Eye." With it, you will be able to replenish the silk gauge not only by dealing damage, but also when receiving it. A filled gauge allows you to heal, which will be very useful while you are mastering the combat mechanics.
