Hollow Knight: Silksong — How to Find All Lost Fleas (Locations & Rewards)

In Hollow Knight: Silksong, players will encounter a variety of side activities. One of these is searching for missing fleas. However, finding them quickly is unlikely, as they are scattered across several locations. In this guide, we’ll tell you how to find all the lost fleas and what reward you can get for completing this side quest.

Searching for missing fleas is one of the first side quests in Hollow Knight: Silksong. You activate it when you first meet the Flea Keeper Mushka and his Flea Caravan in The Marrow. This character will ask Hornet to find all the fleas that have strayed from the caravan. Note that completing this quest will allow players to instantly travel to Greymoor and save a lot of time fighting extremely tough opponents, including one of the bosses.

Below, we’ve provided a detailed list of the lost fleas and noted where they are located. Keep in mind that there are a huge number of them scattered throughout Pharloom, but to complete the quest, you only need to find five.

The first flea can be found on a high ledge in the northern part of The Marrow.

It’s quite easy to get here. Head east from Mosshome. Use the small platforms to climb up, then take the left path through the tall spikes. Once you make it to the other side, head right and up until you see the first lost flea, stuck in a web.

Climb up to the Gloom Bog area and move to the right. Pass by Shakra and swim under the building. Enter it and, after winning in the arena, the lifting mechanisms will unlock. Now go outside and climb higher to the right wall. There you’ll find a flea sitting in a cage.

The third flea can be found in the same long room where you get the Quick Step dash ability.

On the left, there are metal ledges—climb up them using parkour. At the top, there will be a lever: pull it to open a new passage. Climb further up, and there you’ll see a flea inside an egg. Hit it to free the flea.

The fourth flea is located in the Far Fields, in a secret room to the right of the bottom of a tall shaft. It’s quite dark there and full of platforms. Taking the first path on the right, you’ll notice a white tile on the floor—this is a trap: if you step on it, you’ll become easy prey for the ants. Avoid the tile, keep moving forward, and at the end of the path you’ll see a flea in a cage.

The fifth flea is found in the Hunter’s March. To get there, you’ll need to master the downward strike, or return later when you can wall-jump.

Enter the march through the Bone Ridge and head west. Use the special jump to bounce across the red plants until you reach a tall fork. Turn left and be careful—there are flying ants there. Climb higher, and behind the spikes you’ll find a cage with a flea.

When you collect all the fleas, return to the Flea Keeper Mushka in The Marrow to complete the Lost Fleas quest.

Mushka will offer to travel with him and his furry friends. If you agree, he’ll take you to the new Flea Caravan camp on the outskirts of Greymoor, saving you quite a bit of time.
