In this guide, we’ll explain in detail how to solve the radio transmitter puzzle in the third story chapter, Carnevale.

How to Start the Puzzle

In the third story chapter Carnevale, you need to go through the attractions to meet Kin, the boss of the level. Along the way, you’ll have to leave the dark hall with the planetary mechanism, light the furnace, and slip unnoticed through an alley with deadly marionettes.

Thus, halfway to the boss, you’ll find yourself in a giant cart with an old radio transmitter. To start it, you need to restore power to the cart.

How to Turn on the Radio Transmitter

There’s a carpet in front of the radio station hiding a hole in the floor. You can crawl under the cart through it and get outside. There you’ll see a generator with a missing power cell in its slot. Now notice that from the right end of the cart, a rope is hanging out of the window.

Climb the rope into the cart and find yourself in a room where a power cell is lying on a shelf in the upper corner. To get it, shoot the bottles with your bow so the battery falls to the floor.

Throw the power cell through the broken window of the door on the right and climb into the room with the radio station. Now pick it up and jump into the hole in the floor. Go outside and insert the battery into the generator slot. This will restore power to the cart.

How to Tune the Radio Transmitter

Return to the room with the radio station and notice there’s a lever. The device has a scale with a horizontal line divided into ten segments. The task is to turn the knob to move the bar to the correct mark so the lamp to the left of the device lights up.

To solve the puzzle, ask your partner to stand on the nightstand to the left of the lamp. Now turn the lever until the bar on the scale reaches the eighth segment. When the lamp lights up, your partner should jump onto the wall lamp and grab its base.

What Solving the Puzzle Gives You

If you did everything correctly, the lamp will lower, and a secret passage to the stairs will open to the left of the radio transmitter. You can use it to climb onto the roof of the cart, where there’s a rope leading to the tent with the halved fat man. This will open the way to the roller coaster, which will take the heroes to Kin’s lair.
