How to Unlock All Weapons and Upgrades in Tormented Souls 2: Complete Guide

During her journey, Caroline Walker from Tormented Souls 2 uses a wide variety of weapons: from close combat with a hammer to rapid fire with an automatic nail gun. In this guide, we’ll explain how to unlock all types of weapons and list upgrades for some of them.

The first weapon available to the player can be obtained in the basement workshop. After restoring power, take the elevator down to the underground section and go straight until you find a blue door. Inside, find the compressed air cylinder and combine it with the nail gun body on the inventor’s table.

Right after unlocking the nail gun, the ghoul you saw earlier behind the cage will break out. Avoid the monster and head to the crematorium. After talking to Joseph, search the nearby corpse and pull the hammer out of its head.

Return to the chapel of the manor. Use the hammer to break the vases blocking your way to the building’s peak. Climb the stairs and solve the bell puzzle:

After completing these steps, you’ll be able to get a new gun.

After reaching the torture museum with the key, walk past the table with the chained corpse and break the rusty lock on the door with the hammer. Light the candles in the correct order and open the portal to another world. Here, pull the lever on the table and tear the mannequin in half. In the original world, the corpse will be split in two and its remains will open access to an iron pipe. This upgrade increases the shotgun’s magazine.

After defeating the cultist in the Lady Chapel, go up to the second floor and enter the previously inaccessible library room. Among the tape recorders and discs, find the small compressed air cylinder and combine it with the original nail gun. This upgrade increases the weapon’s fire rate.

On the lower floor of the shopping center, in the men’s bathroom, you’ll find a worker’s corpse. Next to it will be the next weapon.

Once at the fish factory, go up to the top floor and explore the dormitory. Find the green restroom door, enter it, and take the crowbar from the head of the corpse next to Joseph.

Two crossbow components are hidden throughout the fish factory. The bicycle parts are in the safe zone on the second floor: go to the far room and climb the stairs to the attic with various screens. On the table near one of the TVs, you’ll find the first weapon part.

For the crossbow base, you need to reach the kitchen. Go up to the second floor and take the weapon body from the far corpse in the corner.

Next, combine it with the previously found parts to get the powerful crossbow.

For the second shotgun upgrade, you need to get to another part of the dining hall through the passage on the second floor of the warehouse. The iron pipe is on the table in front of the door and once again increases the weapon’s magazine.

Go down into the waste section and take the chainsaw base from the far crate.

Combine both parts to get a new melee weapon.

After completing these steps, the sarcophagus will open and you’ll receive one of the most powerful guns in the whole game.

After returning to the real world following the cemetery boss fight, break the crates in the collector passage and enter the room with Joseph. Next to him will be a corpse with a sledgehammer embedded in its skull.

With the sledgehammer, break the fragile wall in the cemetery tomb. In the opened room, search the coffin for a nail coil. This upgrade doubles the nail gun’s magazine.

After obtaining the combined key from the School, head to the computer lab and turn the key’s discs as follows:

Use the resulting key combination in the locker opposite to get a spring for the gun, which reduces recoil when firing.

For unlocking all weapon types, you’ll receive the corresponding achievement. It’s also worth noting that there is a special weapon in the game that can be unlocked after your first playthrough, but in the latest versions it is temporarily disabled due to some technical issues.
