How to Find the Order of Seven Headquarters in Of Ash and Steel

Of Ash and Steel invites players to travel to the distant island of Greyschaft. The story revolves around the capital’s cartographer Tristan, who is sent on a business trip to escort a ship to the city port, but things don’t go as planned. In this guide, we’ll explain how to find the headquarters of the Order of Seven knights.

At the end of the story quest The Long Road Home, Tristan leaves the “Guiding Chapel” shipping office, where he is met outside by Ward, a member of the Order of Seven. He leads the hero into the slums and tries to kill him, as he is actually an assassin. At this point, Ivar appears and saves the cartographer, then advises him to seek the support of either the knights or the free folk.

The Order of Seven’s castle is located in the southeastern part of the capital. It stands somewhat apart from the city and is connected to it by a bridge. The stone fortress is decorated with red flags bearing a sword stabbed into a seven-pointed star. Below, we’ll describe two main ways to get there.

To reach the Order of Seven fortress from the slums, follow these steps. Leave the scene of the attack, exit the alley, and turn right, then go straight to the wooden bridge.

Now head south to the archway. Go around the second building on the right and pass through the gate. You’ll see a statue on the right and the Order of Seven’s castle on the left. Go down to the monument and cross the bridge, then turn left and climb up to the fortress.

From the city gates, head north to the tavern, then turn right before the house with the flag. Go through two archways and you’ll see a staircase. Go around it on the right side and pass the guard into the next passage.

Go around the house on the left and you’ll see a flowerbed with a tree. From there, go left towards the next city archway, behind which is the Order of Seven’s fortress.
