Resident Evil Requiem Crafting Guide: Where to Find the Blood Analyzer and Blood Samples

This detailed guide will show you where to find the analyzer, how to collect blood samples, and how to solve the analysis puzzles to improve your character’s abilities.

The analyzer lets you craft a wide range of items. There are three samples in Rhodes Hill on normal difficulty, plus one extra on insane difficulty. All of them are scattered throughout the rehabilitation center. When you find a sample, you need to bring it to the analyzer and solve a short puzzle to complete the analysis.
The puzzle requires you to turn gray cubes into red spheres in the correct order and with the fewest moves. Each time you change a cube, the connected cells change too, so you need to follow a certain logic.
Where to Find the Analyzer
You can find the blood analyzer in two rooms of the rehabilitation center: in the hematology lab on the first floor of the east wing, and in the office on the second floor of the west wing.
Blood Sample #1 (Denaturation)
The first blood sample is on the desk right next to the analyzer in the hematology lab. Place the sample in the analyzer. After that, you’ll be prompted to solve a puzzle on the computer.
The first puzzle is simple: just click the gray cube slightly to the left of the center of the screen.
Solving this puzzle unlocks the ability to craft pistol ammo and hemolytic injectors, which let you quietly take down monsters.
Blood Sample #2 (Convergence)
On normal difficulty, the Convergence blood sample is in a small room connected to the waiting area in the east wing. You can only get in once you have the level one access bracelet.
On Insane difficulty, this sample is in the archive section of the east wing.
Here’s how to solve the puzzle:
- Press the second cube at the end of the chain on the right, the gray cubes will turn into red spheres.
- Then press the cube to the left of the center of the screen, the one connected to two other cubes — the remaining cubes will turn into spheres.
After analyzing this sample, Grace will be able to craft standard injectors and 12.7x55mm ammo for the Requiem revolver.
Blood Sample #3 (Reversibility)
The third blood sample is in the same hematology lab as the first one, but behind a level one access door. In the room, you'll find an empty injector and the sample.
Here's how to solve the puzzle:
- First, press the far left cube.
- Then press the cube diagonally from it, in the center of the screen.
- Press the far right cube.
- Finally, press the cube below and slightly to the left of the far right one, diagonally from the center.
With this sample, Grace will be able to craft stabilizers and steroids, permanent upgrades for her stats.
Blood Sample #4 (Polymerization)
This sample is exclusive to Insane difficulty. It appears in the same small room as the second sample on normal difficulty.
Once again, you need to solve a puzzle:
- First, press the middle cube on the left line of cubes.
- Then press the middle cube on the right line of cubes, directly across from the previous one.
- Press the middle cube on the lower line of three cubes.
As a reward for this sample, you'll get 30 rounds of ammo and the ability to craft the R.I.P. knife.
