How to Get to the Crimson Forest Ruins

Ancient Ruins are located in the southern part of the world. The nearest Abyss Stone is Wind Pulley. There is also an Abyssal Focus portal near the ruins. If you are starting from the hero’s camp, head southeast. To clear the fog of war in this area, you need to ring the bells in Hernand and Demeniss. The Crimson Forest Ruins are marked on the map and become available once you unlock the region.

How to Solve the Golden Wheel Puzzle in the Crimson Forest Ruins

Inside these ruins, you will face a golden wheel puzzle. There is a huge golden wheel embedded in the rock, and its parts are controlled by three separate mechanisms. Your goal is to align the circles correctly:

  1. Turn the right mechanism counterclockwise about one and a half times, so the large circle is in the upper right position.
  2. Now turn the middle mechanism in the same way. Half a turn is enough. This rotates the top ring, which should be above the main circle.
  3. Go to the left mechanism and insert your sword using the Thrust skill. Turn it clockwise so the small circles line up with the pattern.

If you do everything right, a short cutscene will play and the passage will open. Head down to collect the Abyss artifact, which is used to buy new skills. If you get stuck, check the screenshots below.
