Beardtree Ruins Puzzle Solution in Crimson Desert

The puzzle in the Beardtree Gorge Ruins in Crimson Desert isn’t the toughest, but it can still be a challenge for players who don’t have the right skill. The main idea is to drain the ruins and activate the wind mechanisms. In this guide, we’ll cover where to find the Beardtree Ruins, which skill you need to solve the puzzle, and how to drain the water to claim your reward.

To get through the puzzle in the Beardtree Ruins in Crimson Desert, you’ll need to drain the area using wind turbines and the Nature’s Snare skill.

The Beardtree Gorge Ruins are located in the north of Delesyia, just east of the Redfox Trading Post and not far from the main road running through the region.

When you first reach the ruins, you’ll see the whole area is submerged. Next to a small stone staircase, there’s a wooden wind mechanism. To start draining the water, use the Nature’s Snare skill to spin the turbine.

If you don’t have this skill yet, you can get it by completing the Haunted Hills Ruins puzzle in Hernand, or unlock it using Abyss Artifacts in the green skill tree branch.

Keep using Nature’s Snare on the first turbine until it lifts up and reveals the drain underneath. Water will start slowly draining through the opening.

Once the first turbine does its job, the water will only partially drain. You’ll see the second turbine on the opposite side of the ruins. Use Nature’s Snare on it again to spin the mechanism and fully drain the area. Sometimes you might need to use the skill more than once.

When the water is completely gone, the pedestal in the center of the ruins will glow blue. Your reward — the Abyss Cresset — will appear there, just like in other Ancient Ruins.
