Most often, these safes are found in manors, courts, castles, and other guarded buildings, and require you to solve a puzzle to open them. In this guide, we’ll show you how to unlock every safe in Crimson Desert and provide solutions for each one.

In Crimson Desert, safes can be found in different regions and buildings — from estates to temples and castles. Each one comes with its own unique puzzle: from assembling an image to adjusting mechanical pistons. Below, you’ll find all known safes in the game and how to open them.

The most common type of puzzle in the game is the hidden locked safe. These are often found in various manors or other closed rooms. This safe is tied to the story quest Secret at the Church and can be found in the Western Demenis Church, inside Byron Manor. To unlock the safe, press the buttons in the following order:

The safe is located in Lioncrest Manor in the northwest of Hernand, in the eastern room on the second floor. You can’t get in through the main entrance, so it’s best to climb the outer wall and enter the room through the window. Inside, you’ll find a cabinet where you need to assemble a complete image of an angel. There’s no universal solution—rotate the picture fragments until the squares match the ones next to them.

As a reward, you’ll get engraved gold earrings that boost your defense.

Sangrove Manor is northwest of Demenis. In one of the rooms on the second floor, there’s a safe with a puzzle where you have to rotate image pieces. There’s no fixed combination, since the layout is randomly generated, so just keep rotating the pieces until the picture on the panel is correct. Once solved, you’ll get the key to Sangrove Manor.
