NTE: Neverness to Everness Multiplayer Guide — How to Unlock Co-Op and Play With Friends

NTE: Neverness to Everness features built-in multiplayer, but it isn’t available right away and requires you to meet a few conditions. As of the first update, multiplayer is pretty limited, but more features may be added in the future. You and your friends can explore the world together and try out some of the available mini-games. This guide explains how to unlock multiplayer in Neverness to Everness and what you can do in co-op.

The co-op tab is found in your character’s phone and opens after you press Esc or tap the matching icon in the mobile version. It becomes available automatically once you finish the first story chapter and reach anomaly hunter level 7.

Before creating a lobby, you’ll need to find and add your friends to your friend list. Players must be on the same server: someone on a European server can’t join someone on an Asian server, and vice versa. After that, go to the Multiplayer tab and invite your friend to your world. Each lobby supports up to four players. Currently, you can’t open your lobby to random players, but this option may be added in future updates.

Once you level up your hunter and your tycoon level to 10, you’ll unlock more ways to play with friends. For example, co-op includes mini-games like Sparrow Mahjong and Tetramino. In multiplayer, you can also:
