What Is Rerolling

Rerolling helps you get the characters you want
Rerolling helps you get the characters you want

Rerolling means creating new game accounts and playing through the starting missions to get the most useful or desirable five-star characters using your starter currency. The odds of pulling the hero you want are pretty low, but thanks to a short intro sequence, rerolling in Neverness to Everness is a convenient way to start strong.

All Five-Star Characters in Version 1.0

In this section, we’ll look at every available five-star character, their active and passive abilities, and how relevant they are in upcoming patches.

Nanali

Nanali
Nanali

The first event character of the Anima element with an Emotive arc type. She’s the main damage dealer for your team, focusing on basic attacks and dealing high damage to both groups and single targets. Her passive city skill increases the value of dishes and reduces ingredient consumption. She also has a gravity shift mechanic on her first skill, making it easier to move across vertical surfaces.

Like in most gacha games, she clearly outperforms other legendary characters at launch in terms of damage, versatility, and ease of use. She’s one of the best reroll picks if you want a strong damage dealer who will stay relevant for the first 2–3 patches.

Jiu Yuan

Jiu Yuan
Jiu Yuan

A standard Anima element character with an Instinctive arc type. He also works as a solo carry with a ranged attack style. He has solid damage and a built-in enemy pull on his first skill, which is great for combat challenges. His skill also offers healing, which, combined with his ranged playstyle, lets you safely deal with enemies. His passive city skill reduces vehicle wear and the cost of repairs.

A good reroll option if you don’t want to pull for Nanali or are saving resources for future characters. His passive healing is a big help in tough fights, and his attack style fits well with the current Abyss buffs.

Sakiri

Sakiri
Sakiri

A standard support character of the Charm element with a Restraining arc type. One of the best support characters at the moment. Her skill pulls in enemies and is great for breaking shields. The ultimate immobilizes opponents and boosts your team's damage. Her special basic attack lets you instantly defeat weak enemies, and her passive, like Nanali’s, increases dish value and reduces ingredient use.

Definitely the best pick from the standard legendary selector and one of the most useful heroes for early game. Supports are always more valuable than pure damage dealers. Every player who needs a strong character for their account should get her.

Baikang

Baikang
Baikang

A standard legendary carry of the Charm element with a Linking arc type. Deals damage over time, can pull in enemies, has built-in healing from marks, and can execute enemies (including bosses) when their health drops below a set value. His passive city skill increases visitor flow and reduces ingredient consumption.

One of the best picks from the standard pool. He’s great for boss fights and groups of enemies thanks to his passive healing and ability to finish off opponents.

Hathor

Hathor
Hathor

A standard Lakshana element character with an Emotive arc type. She has average damage and fairly long animations. She can launch and bind enemies with basic attacks, deals AoE damage with her charged skill, and boosts her own attack after using her ultimate. Her passive city skill increases delivery points and boosts customer satisfaction.

Despite her average damage and less convenient gameplay, Hathor has one feature that really increases her value for your account. When Hathor is on your account, certain homes in the Real Estate section unlock the option to upgrade the Hamster Ball furniture. Upgrading it increases your chances of getting legendary modules, which can make resource farming for your characters much easier in the long run.

Fadia

Fadia
Fadia

A standard Psychic element character with a Linking arc type. She belongs to the Survivor class. She can redirect damage from allies to herself and heal herself with her ultimate. Compared to Edgar, the other defensive character, she’s better at shielding your team. Her passive city skill increases tips from Quick Travel jobs and boosts customer satisfaction.

A good defensive character for the late game, but not the highest priority for rerolling.

Daffodil

Daffodil
Daffodil

A standard legendary character of the Chaos element with a Cognitive arc type. She serves as a secondary damage dealer, specializing in breaking enemy toughness. All her abilities focus on status effects that increase toughness damage. Her passive city skill boosts visitor flow and reduces ingredient use.

She’s a great pick for the second damage dealer slot in any current team thanks to her element and unique toughness-breaking mechanics.

Who to Reroll for First

It's best to prioritize supports, then damage dealers
It's best to prioritize supports, then damage dealers

The top character to reroll for at launch is Nanali—she’s currently the strongest damage dealer and makes early content and farming much easier. From the standard selector, Sakiri is the best choice since supports are more valuable at the start. Damage boosts and crowd control will help almost any team.

If you’re not planning to reroll for Nanali, consider Jiu Yuan, Baikang, or Daffodil as alternatives. Finally, pick characters based on your personal preference—such as Hathor or Fadia.
