007 First Light Playing Card Locations Guide: All 36 Cards

There are several types of collectibles in 007 First Light, and Playing Cards are among the most common. There are 36 cards hidden in total. They are spread across different missions: some are almost on the main route, while others are hidden in staff-only rooms, safes, vents, or behind objects that can only be opened with gadgets. In this guide, we explain where to find all Playing Cards in 007 First Light and how not to miss the cards tied to the laser, safes, and locked rooms.

Collecting all Playing Cards unlocks the Casino Royale achievement. If the reward does not appear right away, enter Tactical Simulation mode and inspect the card display. In some cases, the trophy is triggered after checking the collection. Keep in mind that the game does not have a convenient separate card counter for each chapter. You can only check your progress in the collectibles menu, so it is best to compare your progress with the list below and pick up the cards as you play through the missions.

Against the Odds Mission

You can find one Playing Card in the first mission of 007 First Light. It is located in the deployment camp near the starting route.

In the first chapter, reach the checkpoint in the deployment camp. After leaving container A4, do not rush to complete the story objective. Go to the shelving unit on the right. The card is lying there.

A New Home Mission

There are two Playing Cards hidden in the A New Home mission. Both are located in the training area: one can only be collected after opening the first gate, while the other is found during the objective where you steal the flag near the pier.

At the start of the training area, move forward until you reach the first gate that needs to be hacked. After opening the gate, turn around and return to the starting platform where Greenway previously explained the rules of the exercise.

Go up the stairs to the platform. The card is lying on the ledge directly in front of you. You cannot reach it before opening the first gate, so you need to progress through the objective first.

During the flag-stealing objective, head down to the pier. Near the stairs, you will see a large double door. You can kick it open, but this will draw the enemies' attention. The cleaner option is to steal the key from the nearby guard on the stairs. Once inside, deal with the enemies or sneak around them. The card is lying on the wooden pallets.

A Night Out Mission

There is one Playing Card in this mission. You need to look for it away from the main route, above the stage. The path to the collectible runs across the lighting equipment and catwalks under the ceiling.

Ober of Bells

When the objective asks you to reach the lounge on the upper floor, go behind the stage and climb up the lighting rig. Follow the catwalks under the ceiling, and at the very end, on the grate, you will find the card.

All the Time in the World Mission

You can find five Playing Cards in All the Time in the World. They are hidden in different parts of the hotel: near the driveway, in the dining room, in the manager's office, in the staff corridors, and in the basement after the dining room puzzle.

At the start of the mission, drive along the road until you see the huge hotel sign. Turn onto the dirt road on the left. After Bond parks the car and continues on foot, go up the stairs. Then turn left and go down the next flight of stairs. The card is lying on the railing.

Once you reach the large hall with guests, go left and head down the stairs. Turn left again and follow the corridor until you see the Dining Room. Go inside and check the table in the far-left corner from the entrance. The card is lying on a table with a white tablecloth, so it is easy to miss.

6 of Roses

Go down to the reception desk and pass through the white door directly behind it. You need to reach the manager's office in the far-right part of the restricted area.

You can distract the guard with a gadget or go through the staff room where two maids are located. In the manager's office, check the safe under the desk. The code is 1952. Enter the combination, open the safe, and take the card.

After inspecting Room 206, open the maid's door, listen to Monroe, and go down to the first floor. You will enter a staff corridor with a large blue cable. Do not rush toward the story objective. Go to the end of the corridor, open the door, and turn left onto the terrace. The card is lying on one of the tables.

After solving the dining room puzzle with the Lion, Snake, Goat sequence, Bond will end up in a dark basement. Jump over the first table, then turn left and enter the room with barred doors. The card is lying on a crate before the narrow gap you need to squeeze through to continue.

Out of the Ashes Mission

There is one important thing to do before the next chapter. When the story brings you to the gadget table in Q Lab, make sure to take the Laser Strap. You will need it for several cards in The Past Never Dies. If you return through chapter select without the required gadget, some cards will have to be collected by replaying the section from Chapter 9.

The Past Never Dies Mission

In The Past Never Dies, the cards are spread across the black market, the fight club, and Agent 009's ship. Some collectibles require the Q-Watch laser, so it is important to take the right gadget in Q Lab before starting the mission.

After arriving in Aleph, Bond will get out of the car and walk through the old ship that houses the market. Keep to the left-hand path and look for the bathroom. The card is inside.

9 of Acorns

When you receive the objective to find $100,000, go down into the market and turn right. There will be an area with fish tanks and two guards.

The card is inside one of the fish tanks. Break it with the Q-Watch laser, then pick up the item. If you do not have the laser, return to the Q Lab section in the previous mission and take the required gadget.

From the ramp where you first entered the market, head left. Use the large red anchor and the small fenced-off area as landmarks. There is a truck behind it. Behind the truck is a wall panel. Cut or open it with the laser gadget. The card is hidden inside the panel.

Ace of Roses

Return to the ramp at the market entrance, then go straight through the stalls toward the tunnel leading to the fight club. Go up to the upper floor of the club and leave through the passage to the left of the bar. This will take you to a rooftop area with training equipment. The card is lying on a box in a small corner room.

When the story objective asks you to find Agent 009, you will reach a ship rigged with tripwires. Disarm the traps, go up the stairs on the right, and turn around. The card is lying on the table with the chessboard.

Inside the shipwreck, after using the zipline to cross to the other side, keep moving forward. The card is lying on a barrel before the blue pipe you need to climb to lower the bridge.

Uninvited Mission

In Uninvited, several cards are hidden in the museum, locked staff areas, the storage section, and a utility room. Some routes require distracting guards, using vents, or using the laser, so it is worth checking side paths carefully.

8 of Acorns

Once you are inside the museum, go to the far-right corner. Use the reception desk as a landmark: the card is lying on a stone bench to the right of it.

Once you reach the main hall, turn left and go into the side corridor. Then turn left again and follow it to the end. You will see a guard in a white shirt standing next to the entrance to a restricted cloakroom.

Distract the guard with a gadget, such as a dart or the laser, and slip inside. In the cloakroom, turn right, squeeze through the narrow gap, and kick down the door. Go upstairs, then deal with the enemies or bluff your way past them. The card is lying on the white box in the middle of the room.

After Bond is freed, turn around and check the table behind you. The card is lying there.

8 of Roses

As you move through the storage area, Bond has to cross a lighting rig to reach the next balcony. After the sequence where he almost falls, keep going forward, then turn right. The card is lying on a table.

When you reach the courtyard with many enemies, go down to the lower floor and find the dining room in the far-right part of the area. There is a vent near the piano that lets you crawl further in.

Follow the vent, then use the laser to cut the lock and enter the utility room. The card is lying on a crate. You can also open the door with the code 3256, which can be found on the laptop in the library.

Knightfall Mission

In Knightfall, the Playing Cards are hidden in service rooms, vents, offices, and on the cargo floor. Some doors can only be opened with the laser, the Q-Watch, or an access key, so do not skip the optional routes near the offices and balconies.

When you first open the door for Greenway, he will go to inspect the bathrooms. Kick down the door to the Maintenance room on the right. Look for the vent cover on the ceiling and open it with the laser. Climb into the vent: the card is lying inside, right on the floor.

After talking to Greenway by the railing in front of the two waterfalls, climb over the barrier. Move along the ledge between the waterfalls to the other side.

Once you climb up, immediately turn left and you will see a door. There is a device above it that can be hacked with the Q-Watch. Do this, and Greenway will enter the room and open the door for you. The card is lying on the pool table.

After you and Greenway go up to the next level, find the office marked Bohr on the left near the end of the corridor. Enter it and look into the next office on the left. Hack the device above the door. Go into Einstein's office and take the card from the desk.

King of Acorns

After getting the access key, return to the area near the office marked Einstein. Do not enter the office. Instead, go back to the start of the corridor on the third level. You can now use the key to open the side doors leading to the balcony. The card is lying on a table.

Under of Shields

On the cargo floor, when the objective tells you to find the helicopter, reach the stairs leading to the flight deck. Instead of going up, go down. The card is lying on a crate.

Time to Die Mission

In Time to Die, the cards are hidden around the villa, in the cave, near the Lotus Bar, and in the areas tied to finding Theresa, Ellis, and Ramon. Some items are easier to collect while wearing the right disguise, so before clearing the location, it is worth checking the rooms and picking up key items.

After receiving the package from Q and entering the villa, go up the stairs. Then follow the corridor on the right and enter the bathroom. The card is lying by the sink.

8 of Shields

While looking for Theresa, Ellis, and Ramon, find the platform where people are doing yoga. The card is lying in the corner.

9 of Roses

Go into the cave. Near the end of the cave, you will notice a man talking on the phone. Listen in on the conversation, then shoot him with a dart and steal the key.

Open the nearby door and go inside. The card is lying on the shelf to the left. You should also pick up the yoga mat in the same room.

Once you reach Ramon Hernandez's villa, go upstairs and talk to him. After that, enter the bathroom. The card is lying by the sink. The easiest way to grab it is to use the yoga instructor disguise beforehand. To do this, inspect the note on the wall in the storage room and pick up the yoga mat.

King of Roses

Follow the signs to the Lotus Bar. If you are leaving Ramon's villa, go straight ahead, then turn left. The card is lying on the counter in the back part of the bar.

Wave of the Future Mission

You can find three Playing Cards in Wave of the Future. They are located in the passage before the scaffolding, near the cable car, and in the Robotics Department, so check the far corners of rooms before moving on to the next story area.

After the first group of enemies, enter the building and move through the corridor. Before climbing the yellow scaffolding, check the far end of the passage. The card is lying there.

When you reach the cable car, go up the stairs on the right. At the top, turn around and check the sofas on the left. The card is lying on one of them.

In the Robotics Department, go straight from the entrance toward the Utility door, then turn right. The card is lying on a box in the far corner.

For England Mission

The final mission of 007 First Light contains the last three Playing Cards. They can be found in office rooms and on the way to THEIA, so after each fight, quickly check desks, side rooms, and doors that can be kicked open.

After talking to the wounded woman, go through the door into the next area. Enter the room directly in front of you. The card is lying on the table.

Ace of Shields

When you reach the area with Moneypenny's office, turn left. There will be another office with a door that can be kicked open. Open it and take the card from the desk.

On the way to THEIA, Bond will descend through an elevator shaft and encounter three enemies. After the fight, check the desk on the right. The final Playing Card is lying on it.

If you are collecting cards after your first playthrough, it is easiest to follow the missions in the order used in this guide and immediately check the spots that require gadgets or extra actions: the Q-Watch laser, keys, vents, and safes. Once you pick up a card, it is saved to your collection, so you can quit the mission and move on to the next checkpoint.
