Follow the winding road upward. After a while, you will come to a small lake near the ruins of Xardas' old tower. Do not leave the route and keep climbing along the mountain switchback. Your final destination is the Old Citadel, a ruined fortress on top of a high mountain in the northeastern part of the map.

In the Old Citadel, you will find Ur-Shak fighting three orcs. Before starting a conversation, help him fend off the attackers. Kill the orcs, then speak with the shaman. After the conversation, the Shaman Shunned quest will be completed.

Tip: before heading to the Old Citadel, bring a blunt weapon with you. You may encounter a Stone Golem along the way, and regular bladed weapons are not very effective against it.

After completing the Shaman Shunned quest, your cooperation with Ur-Shak does not end. As a reward, you will receive the Orc Talisman and an updated world map showing previously unknown orc territories. The shaman will also unlock the next important story quests.

After that, speak with the shaman again and ask him about the Orcish language. Ur-Shak can teach the hero the second level of Orcish. Learning this skill unlocks the Foreign Language Master achievement, so make sure to take advantage of this opportunity.
