Cryogenic Coolant is a high-level material added to Palworld with update 1.0. It is used to craft advanced machinery, weapons, and gear. In this guide, we will explain how to get Cryogenic Coolant, which resources you need to craft it, and what this material is used for.

To get Cryogenic Coolant, you need to unlock its recipe at Technology Level 31. Unlocking it requires 2 Technology Points.

Aquatic Pal Fluids are a fairly common resource in the world of Palworld. They can be obtained from certain Water-type Pals, which are most often found near bodies of water, along coastlines, and on the shores of large islands.

However, instead of spending time looking for the right Pals, you can set up a steady supply of Aquatic Pal Fluids. To do this, build a Ranch and place a Kelpsea there. It will periodically produce Aquatic Pal Fluids.

This resource, like Aquatic Pal Fluids, is fairly easy to find, but to obtain it you will need to hunt Ice-type Pals in snowy locations.

If you have free space at your base, you can also build another Ranch and place Foxcicle there. It will periodically produce the Ice Organs needed to craft Cryogenic Coolant.

Cryogenic Coolant is used in recipes for advanced structures, weapons, and armor. For example, you will need it for the Refrigerator, Electric Cooler, Battery, and Pal Pod. The material is also used to craft certain types of cold-resistant armor and weapons.

In the late game, Cryogenic Coolant is also required for more expensive recipes, so once you unlock automatic farming of Aquatic Pal Fluids and Ice Organs, it makes sense to produce it regularly and keep a reserve.

Cryogenic Coolant is worth producing in advance, since as your base progresses, it starts being required in several recipes at once. The easiest way to set up constant crafting is by using Kelpsea and Foxcicle at Ranches.
