Silent Hill: Townfall Haldane Hotel Door Puzzle Solution

The Silent Hill series, much like Resident Evil, has always been known for its puzzles, which give players a brief break between the game's more intense moments. The developers of Silent Hill: Townfall continue that tradition, filling the new entry with plenty of puzzles you'll need to solve to progress through the story. In this guide, we'll explain how to solve the first puzzle you encounter at the Haldane Hotel.

Shortly after arriving in St. Amelia, the protagonist, Simon, finds himself inside a disturbing hotel and discovers a portable CRTV that will be used to solve many puzzles throughout the game.

To leave the room, you'll need to solve the game's first puzzle. Approach the door with the circular dial shown on the portable CRTV screen.

Once you reach the correct door, you'll notice that the dial consists of three rotating rings displaying a day, month, and year. To solve the puzzle, you need to determine the correct date and set it on the dial.

To find the combination, carefully search the room and use the portable CRTV. Tune it to the correct signal, and the screen will reveal the required day and month: January 18.

Once you enter the correct date, the mechanism will unlock and the bathroom door will open. Inside, you'll find the Room 204 Key on a stand. Use it to unlock the other door in the room and continue through the hotel.
