First look at Predator: Badlands' Predator revealed

Empire magazine shared the first look at the new Predator from the upcoming solo film. In addition, it turned out that in the film Predator: Badlands the alien hunter will become a full-fledged protagonist.

In an interview with the publication, the director of Prey Dan Trachtenberg said that the events of the new film will unfold in the future on an alien planet. The central character will be the Predator himself for the first time. Moreover, he assures that despite all the coolness and cruelty of the dreadlocked hunter, viewers will even be able to sympathize with him due to some emotional moments.

According to the director, the idea came from the desire to expand the boundaries of the franchise so that viewers could root for the Predator. Among other things, Elle Fanning will play in the film. Dan Trachtenberg mentioned that the actress will play not one, but several roles.

The premiere of the film Predator: Badlands will take place in 2025.

Earlier, there was a rumor that Dan Trachtenberg is working on two films about the Predator at once. The second unnamed film could be an animated anthology that will show the hunter's battles with the best warriors from different eras.
